Jason is a futurist, technologist and strategist that specializes in helping brands communicate and interact with consumers.
The son of a database engineer and a librarian, Jason focused on the technical end of findability and search for the first part of his advertising career. He was an early employee at iCrossing and helped that team develop products for the then-new-mediums, SEO and Paid Search. He went on to build and develop digital media and creative teams at agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Wieden+Kennedy and Isobar’s Carat. Jason’s volume of work encompasses award-wining campaigns for Philips, Old Spice, IBM, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, Disney, Nokia and Nike.
Jason is now helping to develop global advertising and technology strategy for a number of brands and leads a team of talented digital strategists, analysts and creatives for TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles.
In addition to his role with the agency, Jason councils and coaches early-stage start-ups and advises investors in the technology space. He serves on the creative advisory board of two successful independent publishers, Featherproof Books and Wilder Media. He also donates his services to several not-for-profit organizations, all of which help to address social, racial and gender inequality issues.
Jason is a husband to a very patient wife, proud father of two whip smart kids and lives happily in Los Angeles. He enjoys cheeseburgers, publishing his own music, writing short stories, coding poorly, and those rare moments when he finds himself with enough time to play a video game.
